- Dranetz-BMI has introduced the next generation of permanently installed power monitoring, the Encore Series, an intelligent, powerful monitoring system that features a configurable, modular design that will give users the exact information that they need. Information is accessible via the Web using a standard Web browser or locally through an easy-to-use touch screen interface. The Encore Series units are compact and fit into small spaces.
- Megger, Inc.'s PA-9 Plus Portable Power Quality Analyzer is a high performance, multi-functional power analyzer that is ideal for load studies, power quality analysis, motor start studies, and more. The unit has 9 input channels (4 voltage, 5 current) for monitoring typical and complete 3-phase services; on board display of waveforms, harmonics, and direction of harmonic power flow; large 12 megabyte internal memory; self-powered and powers flexible current probes; AC or DC powered; and a high-speed sampling rate - 256 samples/cycle.
- Dranetz-BMI's PowerXplorer PX5 features digitized high-speed sampling and data capture (1 microsecond/channel) to capture and analyze microsecond-wide transients. The unit features 8 channels (4 current, 4 voltage), easy-to-navigate color touch screen, as well as advanced set-up features such as detecting wiring configurations for automatic set-up. The PX5 characterizes hundreds of parameters for effective diagnosis of power problems.
- Dranetz-BMI's Signature System is a data management and decision support system that collects and communicates power system data and helps identify the root cause of power quality problems. The system allows you and/or the end-user to monitor and analyze power data on a continuous basis from wherever you are located using a standard Web browser and can even notify you of impending problems. Here's how it works: The full range of power quality parameters - including current, voltage, demand, and energy are collected through DataNodesTM, which you configure to specific triggers/alarms. Data is communicated to InfoNodesTM, where a power database is created and managed. The InfoNodeTM is also the communication portal of the system. Up to 10 people can simultaneously view data through the Internet or remotely via modem. All you need to access the Signature SystemTM data is a Web browser - there's no proprietary software to learn, install, or upgrade. Alarms and alerts are delivered to pager, e-mail, cell phone, or existing building/facility management system. When coupled with AnswerModulesTM, the Signature SystemTM will diagnosis data by taking collected power signatures and automatically identifying the cause in real-time.
