  • The CBS ArcSafe remote racking system for circuit breakers offers safety and convenience when testing and maintaining circuit breakers. Service personnel can stand outside of the arc flash protection boundary while racking low and medium voltage draw-out circuit breakers in or out. No longer is there a need for a full-body arc flash hazard suit, because personnel are safely out of range. With the CBS ArcSafe Safety Switch the user can operate, trip, and close release the circuit breaker at a safe distance.

  • Megger, Inc.'s Programma EGIL Circuit Breaker Analyzer is an automatic timer and motion analyzer for medium and high-voltage substation circuit breakers. The easy-to-use, reliable EGIL tests three phase breakers up to 240kV. The unit offers features normally found in more expensive units like dual-function timing channels for main and pre-insertion resistor contacts, pre-programmed standard circuit breaker operations modes, and automatic measurement of timing characteristics. Perhaps best of all, the unit is compact and very lightweight (22 pounds with accessories and transport case.)

  • Megger, Inc.'s Programma TM1800 Circuit Breaker Analyzer System provides powerful, advanced circuit breaker testing in a user configurable, modular design that customizes a system that is just right for you. The TM1800 has a built-in PC with CABA Local software that supplies predetermined breaker test plans (templates), onsite measurement view and analysis, database interface, and a common test data archive. Add to that increased safety with DualGuardTM technology that allows testing of the circuit breaker while both grounding points are in place, graphical results for quick interpretation, and technology that streamlines testing to make the process fast and easy -- and you have it all!.

  • Megger, Inc.'s Programma ODEN Primary Current Injection Test Set is an advanced primary current injection test system that simplifies switchgear and CT commissioning, as well as ground grid, protective relay, and circuit breaker testing. The modular design, with a controller unit and up to three current units, allows flexible configuration and optimum outputs. In addition to its wide range of testing capabilities and powerful measurement capabilities, the controller unit has advanced features such as built-in functions to prevent corruption of test results and numerous displays for a thorough analysis of results. The ODEN is on wheels and highly portable.

  • Megger, Inc.'s Programma VIDAR Vacuum Interruptor Tester safely tests the integrity of vacuum interrupters following ANSI/IEEE guidelines. The unit is lightweight, portable, and easy to use, so testing can be done quickly and easily.

  • Megger, Inc.'s Multi-Amp Circuit Breaker and Overload Relay Test Sets are designed to test thermal, magnetic, or solid-state motor overload relays, molded case circuit breakers, and ground fault trip devices. Units are available with a variety of output currents. The MS-2 tests breakers up to 125-ampere. The CB-832 is a lightweight, two-section circuit breaker tester for testing breakers up to 225-amperes. The unit can be easily transported into areas previously inaccessible to high-current test equipment. The Model CB-845 is a high-current circuit breaker test set (up to 500 amperes) and consists of a control unit that incorporates the latest in solid-state metering, control technology and a high- current output unit. All units feature a digital memory ammeter, digital multi-range timer, and high-current output.

  • Megger, Inc. offers a full-line of Circuit Breaker Test Sets. The DDA-1600 is a portable unit designed to test circuit breakers rated up to 1600-ampere frame size. It can also be used to verify the ratio of current transformers, testing thermal/magnetic motor overload relays, testing of ground fault protection schemes, performing heat runs, primary injection of high-voltage bus, and more. The DDA-3000 (rated for breakers up to 3000 ampere frame) and DDA-6000 (rated for breakers up to 6000 ampere frame) are traditional test sets designed specifically to test low-voltage power and molded-case circuit breakers equipped with thermal, magnetic, or solid-state trip devices.

  • Coordinated Power Engineering's Short Circuit and Coordination Studies will ensure that power system protective devices are sized, set, and calibrated properly, as well as have the proper interrupting/withstand ratings. A Short Circuit Study will determine the "worst case" fault level at each electrical distribution component. Fault levels are then compared to the interrupting rating of the existing devices to determine if the protective devices are rated properly. The Coordination Study will determine the optimum protective device/settings to minimize the area of an outage in the event of a fault.
